Serum 76 HDD

SERUM

The Serum fills the gap between the Wave V5 and the Haka V3, with a totally new developed V-deep double concave-V, it offers enhanced control in windier/choppier conditions to suit conditions ranging from Pozo to Capetown and the like. The deep double concaves eat chop and the deepest point is located more towards the rail to give more grip on the rail. The rails are medium progressive and the progressive rocker is between the Haka and the Wave V5. The low drag pretwisted fins offer a wide range, extreme tunability and excellent up wind ability. Due to the excellent feedback of the Serum also the Haka, Shaman and Chakra have received more double concave. Available in SDT, CBC (2 years guarantee) and HDD (3 years guarantee) constructions.

CNC

Since 2008, all the boards are being produced by our new, highly innovativ CAD/CAM production system. Our CNC system does everything that can be done by CNC: Bottom, rail and deck shape, heel cushions are directly shaped with the deck shape, all reinforcements and inserts are done by CNC with an accuracy of 0.1mm. All board shapes are calculated to the liter and mm exact. All the boards are custom or semi custom produced in our R&D centre and board factory on Fuerteventura.

*All boards have in principle the same shape but they are not simply scaled up or down proportionally. The smaller boards have been designed for both stronger winds and/or smaller sailors, the bigger boards for lighter wind and/or bigger sailors.
Deck graphics:
As standard, the SDT construction will come in yellow deck graphics, the CBC in fluo green and the HDD in fluo orange/red. On the CBC and HDD a color change is possible against a fee of 50 euros per color. Custom designs are also possible upon request with a minimum fee of 100 euros.

***When ordering a board you have the following options of Tri Fin set-up: SDT.) The Standard Fins are an entry level Tri Fin set up. Comes as standard with the SDT construction but can be chosen freely. HDD.) Pro Fin set up. Intended for the same windrange as the standard but for a modern upright sailing stance and more experienced and/or lighter wave sailors with who want it looser. Comes as standard with the HDD construction but can be chosen freely.

All board prices consist of 50% development and design costs (including Canarian VAT) and 50% board costs excluding VAT. Upon export out of the Canary Islands (To the EU or elsewhere) we can ship excluding VAT and the customer pays the corresponding VAT upon arrival or we can pre pay the corresponding VAT and add this on top of the costs.
Shipping: We can ship boards from Fuerteventura to any address or international airport in the world. Rates may vary from 150€ into some european destinations to about 600€ for far away destinations for one average sized board. Upon request we can get an individual quote.
Another way is to come and pick your equipment up yourself. An ideal excuse to come to Fuerte for a windsurf trip:) and save on VAT and shipping costs. The waiting list can be up to 6 months, pre ordering of 6 months is adviced if you need your board before a specific date.
