Having moved to Catalonia over 20 years ago, the 100 minutes drive to the coast initially didn’t help to pick up windsurfing. But in 2008 Bart got infected by the virus and he slowly dragged his whole family with him. They’re now one of those rare families where all of them are having fun in the waves when it becomes windy. In 2018 Tessa & Nikki tried their hand at the PWA Waves and became 1 & 2 overall in the girls under 20 on their Witchcraft gear.
Around 8 years ago Bart was completely fed up with all the repairs and breakage he experienced with the “big” brands. Bouke’s approach to design, construction and innovation were a breath of fresh air between all the marketing BS of most brands. So they never looked back and are now seen as the “Witchcraft family” at their local spot in Pals.
