The accommodation is located on the outskirts of the village Lajares.
Famous for his name and with a wink “the Surfcity” of Fuerteventura, as it is in the center of all the wind- surf and kite spots along the north shore.
From here you can start wonderfully small or large hikes. For instance, a short volcano tour to the Calderon Hondo and hence you are in 5 minutes by car in an impressive landscape of dry river beds. There you can walk deep into the barrancos or over the mountains to the beaches from Cotillo.
For water sports enthusiasts or sun worshipers, it is the ideal starting point to get to your beach of choice. The beaches all around the Northshore can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. As well the tourist hot spot Corralejo is 10 minutes away. There handily you can reach Lanzarote in a 30min ferry ride.
We would advise hiring a car to take advantage of what the Northshore offers in their landscape. Therefore, we have enough parking space right in front of the accommodation.
Moreover, you would be close to the Witchcraft windsurf center with windsurf-, surf-, wingfoil- and SUP – equipment for rent and our surf shop and board and sail repair, surf videos, weather station and spot info.
It´s a quiet location here, near the village center with their many possibilities (surf bar, supermarket, bakery, bar, shops) … and additionally there is a small market on the “plaza” every Saturday. That’s practical, you can walk to the village center in 10 minutes to buy fresh rolls for Sunday breakfast.
Anyway, friendly pets and children are welcome too …. There are also dogs, cats and a chicken family living in the neighborhood.
