New for 2015: CBC Construction

September 4th, 2015

For 2015 we have added a 3rd construction, CBC (Custom Biaxial Carbon) since it was getting quite popular amongst our custom boards customers. Available on all production boards, CBC offers a lighter board with a good balance between weight, durability, impact resistance and nice crisp feeling (though not too stiff).
CBC: Custom layed up Biaxial Carbon (40%) + quadaxial-E-glass- Dyneema (8%)- epoxy-Single-Double-Triple sandwich.
Made with Aviation grade carbon UD, custom layed up to build a bi and tri-directional carbon with an optimized fibre orientation on deck and bottom, overlapping on the rails. The nose area is made with quad-axial high grade, tight woven E-glass for better flex and impact properties.

Probably the strongest RDM mast

May 13th, 2013

Our new RDM mast extension is now available. We did not really have any ambition to start making accesories like this but started developing these out of frustration with breaking all available mast extensions and not getting any response of various reputed brands to make them stronger through various years. Fin research going new paths

February 9th, 2013

I managed to source a tiny camera and mounted it with an aluminium profile at the back of the board about 5cm below the bottom. Here are some first stills of the 1.5 hour of video footage. Conditions were light wind float n ride at Puerto Lajas and a 2m wave. I tried to get the first wave of the sets to avoid too much foam in the water. Since it was the first time and cloudy I was not sure how well things were visible but it was surprisingly good and allready saw loads of interesting things, especially from the moving video. Next time will run it simultaneously with a shadowbox to record speeds and a Go Pro in the mast and start trying different fins and add tell tales on the bottom too. This is probably stuff no one has ever seen before. more images
