My name is Bart de Vries and i’m from Holland. I started windsurfing when i was 16 years old and 2 years later i went to South Africa for the first time. Having never sailed on any ocean before, it’s needless to say i struggled a lot at first. Than after visiting Cape Town for two years i went to Pozo Izquerdo. After sailing the wave spots of SA i thought it was time to practice some jumping. Getting better in jumps and being a bigger guy i started wrecking lots of boards. Then i got in touch with Witchcraft and i’ve been sailing Witchcraft boards ever since.
I have got an 80 liter board witch is pretty small for me but i only use it with 3,7 and 4,2 overpowered. For less wind i also have a 90 liter board. The control of the boards is unbelievable. I can just go full speed towards the wave for the jump and they are also really good for waveriding. My favorite move is the forward. My goal is to land the double forward constantly.
